LCL (less than container load) export services from New York and Houston to Cartagena,
Colombia. With the addition of New York and Houston to their established Miami service,
CaroTrans effectively addresses the expanding bilateral trade demand from the U.S. –
Colombia Free Trade Agreement signed mid-May.
Freight from the Northeast, Middle Atlantic and Ohio is consolidated in New York and shipped direct to Cartagena in 8 days. Houston features an industry best 5 day transit for cargo from the Gulf and West Coasts. These new CaroTrans direct services to Cartagena provide global freight forwarders (FF) with greater service flexibility, secure transits, and efficient consolidations.
In addition to LCL services, CaroTrans also provides comprehensive FCL (full container load) export services from U.S. East, West and Gulf coast ports to Colombia destination ports of Cartagena, Barranquilla and Buenaventura.

CaroTrans Opens Office in Seattle

– NVO now offers expedited import & export services to and from the Pacific Northwest –

CaroTrans, a leading global NVOCC (non vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, today announced the opening of a new CaroTrans office in Seattle, Washington. This office will provide enhanced, expedited import and export ocean transportation services – LCL (less than container load), FCL (full container load) and breakbulk – in this active trade region. CaroTrans’ Seattle office is the company’s fourteenth office in the U.S. In 2011, CaroTrans added a Dallas office, as well as a new global office in Santiago, Chile.
