Effective immediately, CaroTrans will not accept export shipments containing Lithium Ion Batteries that are declared as Non Hazardous according to Special Provision 188 without a copy of the SDS and the Test Report confirming compliance with Special Provision 188.

Hazardous Surcharge Minimum Increase
CaroTrans will implement the following minimum on hazardous cargo effective
March 19, 2021. Details as per below:
