Fumigation Declaration

Fumigation Declaration for Sea Shipments to Australia

The following is required to be filled out by the shipper or authorized representative in order for CaroTrans to consider Australian seafreight for export loading.  The Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) Seasonal measures for Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) regulations are outlined on their website. http://www.agriculture.gov.au/import/before/pests/brown-marmorated-stink-bugs

It requires that all shipments deemed as high risk by DAWR standards be treated prior to loading from high risk origin countries of which the USA is named.

The cost of compliance is for the account of the shipper.
